Mi Vida....

Well I'm going to start putting pictures up on here so everyone can check out what's going on in my life if they want to.  Right now I'm up in Sacramento visting my family and my new and one and only niece, Lea Ani Monique Chuidian, my lil sis Elena's baby girl. I will put some pics up as soon as I load them up.  The other reason I am up here is to pay my respects and be at my step-grandfathers funeral.  He, John Caldie, passed on last Saturday, the 20th at 8:30 a.m., he will be greatly missed and my step-grandmother Shirley Caldie passed away a couple months ago after her fight with cancer.  They are together again and we know they will look over us as they always have.  Here's his obituary...
John William Caldie

He attended Menominee High School and proudly enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1948. During his 27 years in the service, he served in the Japan Occupation Post WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War. In 1956, he married Shirley Ann Madsen of Menominee. In 1970, Shirley and John Caldie moved to Atwater, CA (Castle A.F.B.) where they resided for 38 years. After the military, he operated a successful business in Merced, Shell Self-Serve, then Awater at Union 76. He enjoyed his grandchildren & great-grandchildren, woodworking, snow-birding with his RV in Tucson, AZ, and worshipping God.
His wife Shirley of 51 years, who preceded John in death, greeted him at the gates of Heaven.
